The theme of this year’s Royal Academy Summer Show Exhibition 2022 is CLIMATE in all its manifestations, whether it presents as a crisis or opportunity, memory, or simply our everyday experience of weather.
The exhibition begins outside, where a large-scale immersive installation by Spanish artist Cristina Iglesias brings nature and water to the courtyard.
Inside, the artworks are spread over 11 rooms, including two galleries of prints selected by Grayson Perry RA.
Most of the works are available to buy, and proceeds from the Summer Exhibition directly support the exhibiting artists and the RA’s charitable work, including training the next generation of artists in the Royal Academy Schools.
