They say there’s an art to giving gifts, and here at Jasper Conran London, we’ve got just the ticket to ensure you make a statement under the tree come Christmas day. So, give your presents a little bit of pizzaz with our signature two-tone gift wrap. Here’s a handy 5 step guide to show you how:
Step 1: Select Your Materials
Colour is part of our DNA here at Jasper Conran London - and we say - ‘the bolder, the better!’ We use tissue paper for this technique, best paired in contrasting tones.
According to our design team, colours that work well together are; Hot pink & orange, Red & Chocolate, Cobalt blue and Chocolate and Chocolate and Red. Choose a third pop of colour via a ribbon. Opt for recycled grosgrain ribbons or decedent velour; be sure to save them for next year’s wrapping!
Step 2: Prepare to Wrap
Here’s the secret ingredient use double-sided sticky tape to secure the two colours together in the centre, and place your Jasper Conran London Gift (pictured is the Astrid Purse in Orange) in the centre of the paper.
Step 3: Centre and Fold
Be sure that your gift stays in the middle of the wrapping by securing it to the present with tape. Pro tip: fold the edges of the paper in on themselves to give the wrapping a seamless and neat finish.
Step 4: Tie your ribbon
Tie a classic flat bow using a ribbon (we’re using a recycled grosgrain in cobalt blue). Be sure to contrast the colourway for an added statement.
Step 5: Style Under the Tree
