The week after

The womenswear team are filtering back into the studio after a few days off to recharge their batteries. They are immediately drawn to our growing collection of press clippings and contact sheets - which they study in detail.

Today they will be sorting through six months worth of patterns, notes, sketches and fabric swatches for the Spring/Summer 2011 box, which will be archived in due course.

The web team are downloading and filing all the backstage photography and video – which will then be edited and uploaded to the website.

Our press office – based at 36 Sackville Street - are preparing the collection in the top floor showroom. The patent leather bags and tulle hats are on display alongside the new collection, which is hung in running order. Stylists and editors are already making appointments to visit the store to take a closer look.

The atmosphere is very relaxed - a far cry from last week’s intensity– but with just five months until the Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection it won’t last long.
