The day has finally arrived.

Here’s our schedule – though you can never expect it to run exactly to plan.

7.00am The collection is delivered to the British Fashion Council Tent, Somerset House, London, W1.

8.00am Call time - Val Garland and Peter Gray’s hair and makeup teams set up, the dressers prepae a rail for each model, the girls start to filter in and the entire collection is re-pressed.

10.15am The podium opens – assistants arrive to ‘mark-up’ their photographer’s positions, always jostling for the best spot!

10.30am The rehearsal – a handful of girls with finished hair and makeup will take to the catwalk with full lighting and music. This is Jasper’s chance to inspect the look and tweak the finer details.

11.15am The catwalk cover is removed – no footprints please! 11.30am The main doors are open to guests.

11.40am The models are dressed in their first looks – no sooner as they mustn’t sit down!

12.00pm Showtime – Jasper is backstage scrutinising every look before it hits the catwalk. Ever the perfectionist. Why not take your own front row seat?
