See a pin, pick it up

A tiny pin has been causing a fuss in the studio as it is passed along - desk to desk - on a small swatch of cotton.

It is of course, no ordinary piece of haberdashery - the note attached is written by our printer and it reads ‘It may not be gold but it is ‘old’'.

He spotted this medieval dress pin whilst walking his dog along the banks of the river and sent it to the womenswear team - knowing quite rightly that they would cherish this little piece of history.

The pin is just three centimetres long and its head appears to have been fashioned by twisting the metal back upon itself.
