New on the shelf

Last week, Jasper celebrated the launch of his first book ‘Country’ – a photographic study of English country life.

Some of the personalities featured in the book made the journey into London - including community apple presser Patricia Thompson who arrived with a posy of daffodils for Jasper. She features on page 257, chopping local apples inside her barn in Henstridge, Somerset.

In June, Jasper will be heading to the Hay on Wye Literary Festival in Wales to talk more about the making of his book. Tickets are now available to watch his discussion with House & Garden editor Sue Crewe.
