NEW SEASON: J By Jasper Conran AW13 Collection
Thursday, October 10th, 2013
The new Autumn/Winter J By Jasper Conran collections have launched at Debenhams
A palette of warm tones from cranberry to burgundy highlight the collection. A-line skirts in leather and wool checks accentuate an hourglass silhouette and are paired with winter knits. Key outerwear pieces include a check fit and flare coat, featured in the AW13 Debenhams advertising campaign, and a tweed jacket trimmed with velvet.
In a palette of navy highlighted with cobalt, khaki and ginger casual wear is defined by the check shirt this season; worn with denim or laundered cotton jeans and layered with a knit or jacket.
For formal wear the white collar and cuff shirt worn with a fine knit tie embodies a sartorial style. To complement the look, Brogue and Oxford style shoes in rich tan and black have been developed with the renowned British shoemaker Loake.
Girls - Prints, checks and stripes in a palette of red and navy are highlighted with colour. Skater skirts are worn with embellished t-shirts and printed prom style dresses depict party style.
Boys - Smart casual pieces have been designed to be layered together. Chunky cable stitch knitwear, checks, tweeds and denim feature in a palette of red, navy and chambray blue.
For Autumn/Winter 2013 J Home sees the introduction of a 500 thread count bed linen range. The collection is predominantly white with fine textured trims. With a more opulent feel, metallic linear designs have been used for bed linen to layer in to the formal collection. In the kitchen, wirework and wood pieces have been introduced for food storage and preparation.
