It will be difficult to keep an eye on the racing at Royal Ascot today as thousands of women arrive in vibrant hats and fascinators for Ladies Day.
In 1992 Jasper designed a striking collection of flower inspired hats for the Ascot scene in Simon Callow’s touring production of ‘My Fair Lady’. He worked with famed milliner Philip Treacy to create elaborate flower heads - so large and delicate that they were transported in giant hat boxes via lorry.
Our archives contain footage, filmed by Jasper at the final fitting.
