Over 2,000 sq ft of mosaic, 4.6 millions shells and a super mysterious past...the seaside town of Margate offers a Christmas Grotto with a difference! Upon its discovery in the 1800’s, this Grotto came as a complete surprise to the people of Margate, who had no idea why it had been built. So, for an alternative Christmas experience why not head down the winding chalk passageways and attempt to uncover the mysteries of Margate’s Shell Temple!
