Months ago Jasper watched a rehearsal of Hofesh Shechter’s latest contemporary dance creation ‘Political Mother’ and was mesmerised.

Israeli choreographer, Shechter, not only directs his company’s wildly energetic movements but also pens the musical score.

Performed alongside live drummers and electric guitars, ‘Political Mother’ makes its debut tonight at the Brighton Festival. The company will then embark on a worldwide tour including four performances at Sadler’s Wells in London.
