50TH ANNIVERSARY – JAMES BOND CELEBRATES WITH LONDON EXHIBITION

To celebrate fifty years of James Bond, The Barbican London has launched an exhibition unveiling the inside story of the design and style of the world’s most iconic film franchise, ‘Designing 007: Fifty Years Of Bond Style’.
The London exhibition features a look from the Jasper Conran SS08 collection, alongside a striking gold necklace. Both were worn by actress Olga Kurylenko in the James Bond movie ‘Quantum Of Solace’.
Highlights also include gadgets and weapons made for James Bond by special effects experts John Stears and Chris Corbould, artwork by production designers Sir Ken Adam, Peter Lamont and Syd Cain and costumes produced by fashion designers, including Jasper Conran and Philip Treacy, alongside a host of Hollywood costume designers.
