2 DAYS TO GO... LFW: HAIR & MAKE-UP REHEARSALS

Make-up artist Val Garland has been capturing the essence of Jasper’s AW12 collection in a few brush strokes here at the studio this week. Whilst testing out the looks, we asked Val what three items make up her essentials kit. She revealed: “Chanel foundation, eye-lash curlers and Clinique mascara.” Duly noted!

Just in from New York, hair stylist Peter Gray and his team have also been busy trialing key looks for the show. His tricks of the trade - dress making elastic, dress making scissors and large darning needles! Peter’s top tip for keeping hair in great condition: “Always, always use hair protection spray,” he said. “The spray coats the hair and acts like a varnish in between your hair and the irons, preventing heat from damaging it.”
