A House of Treasures...
19 July 2010

Over a century has passed since the Wallace family bequeathed their entire fine art collection to the nation. It remains on display today, inside their original home in central London.

Jasper has long admired the historic interior of the Wallace Collection and it’s eclectic assortment of art, paintings, furniture, armour and porcelain. He was honoured to be made a Trustee of this national museum in 2007.

Whilst the original collection must remain unedited – the curators host regular exhibitions designed to enhance the family’s legacy.

The current exhibit – ‘Beauty and Power’ includes thirty Renaissance and Baroque bronze sculptures (pictured). These French and Italian works are on loan from the private collection of renowned American architect Peter Marino.
