Not content with being one of the UK’s leading designers, Jasper Conran is now adding ‘author’ to his list of accomplishments. Having previously designed furniture, interiors, ceramics, jewellery, crystal and clothing and won accolades such as British Designer of the Year, Conran has put his hand to this beautiful photographic essay that explores the captivating English countryside.

Conran – who lives and works in the country – obviously adores the landscapes that surround him on a daily basis, and evidently they inspire him. Revealing contemporary country life, Conran’s photographs and text take you away from rural interiors to exteriors, via the beauty of the changing seasons and all the while giving ideas that tempt you to try living the country way.
