It was Jasper’s passion for early Georgian architecture and interiors that inspired him to create of the ‘House of Jasper Conran’ at 36 Sackville Street.
The listed Georgian building does not only house Jasper Conran’s clothing and bridal designs, but also showcases his home collections. His work is displayed in crystal, ceramics and a signature bespoke range consisting of furniture, wall mirrors and rugs.
The Jasper Conran at Waterford collection of stemware and giftware adorns the sculpted glass shelves in the grand front room at 36 Sackville Street. Focusing on the inherent qualities of crystal, these unique ranges evoke a bold yet elegant modernity that creates beauty with cut and light.
Jasper Conran’s Wedgwood collection is no exception to his unique talent in creating clean, simple, modern classics. From the original White service to the decorative flourishes of Chinoiserie and the glittering Platinum Stripe, this collection has become a contemporary dining essential.
The dining room at Sackville Street is set for an elegant dinner party at all times of the day. Displays are changed to suit the mood, occasion or time of year. Ceramic patterns are ‘mixed and matched’ to demonstrate how the ranges layer to create differing statements. The final flourish features seasonal blooms in footed vases and bowls from the Jasper Conran Crystal collection.
The bespoke range features a selection of hand made pieces which are available made to order.
Rugs have been designed with a sculpted edge inspired by the rococo style so prevalent in early Georgian decorative features. Hand-tufted in the finest wool and decorated simply in either a palette of cool, chic greys or a riotous burst of bold colour.
Following this rococo inspired theme, a choice of wall hung mirrors, made in England, feature shaped and bevelled edges.
The finest leather and a vibrant grosgrain striped silk have been used to upholster a range consisting of sofas, armchairs, daybeds and an ottoman. Clean lines meld with heritage detailing such as wing arms and buttoning to create a truly contemporary collection.
