36 Sackville Street gives the bride-to-be exclusive and personal access to Jasper Conran’s bespoke bridal collection. The romance of your special day begins here with your one-on-one appointment in this exquisite Georgian setting.
Arranging a wedding can be stressful at times, however we will ensure that the experience of creating your dream gown leaves you feeling completely pampered.
Our brides include royalty and some renowned names among them. Amongst Jasper Conran’s favourites, the gown he designed for Lady Sarah Chatto with draped georgette under a corset emphasising a neckline inspired by a Holbein portrait. For model Jasmine Guinness, Jasper Conran crafted a gown from 30 metres of silk chiffon, sculpting delicate rivulets by hand to contour her body and fall in to a pool of silk at the hem - a fusion of Madame X and a Grecian goddess.
Your appointment begins with an informal chat and tea in the drawing room where we will discuss your wedding plans. We will invite you to browse through the Jasper Conran wedding book before guiding you up to the first floor collection rooms where the bespoke wedding gown collection is located.
Here, you will see Jasper Conran’s simple, flawlessly cut dresses. Every dress is handmade in London and created with the finest attention to detail. Fabrics that flatter are chosen for each creation - georgette, satin, zibeline and grosgrain - creating iconic, textured, architectural forms. The finest silks and laces produced from the best European mills are selected in shades of ivory, oyster and pearl.
Each of Jasper Conran’s wedding dress collections evolves from the last, adding a twist of detail to achieve perfection - from the latest appliqués to a dramatic fichu neckline. Perfect your look with veils, exquisite cover-ups and sparkling floral head-pieces, earrings and necklaces.
Having selected your dress, we will arrange a further appointment for your first fitting. Following true couture tradition, we will make a cotton toile to be fitted at your second appointment. You will then see your gown in the chosen fabric, but it is not until it has been fitted to perfection that the final hand finishing is applied.
The mother-of-the-bride and attendants are welcome to browse Jasper Conran’s bespoke womenswear collection via an intimate door leading from the bridal rooms. Again, each piece will be fitted and finished to perfection.
On the ground floor in the menswear room, the groom and male guests are attended to with fittings for made-to-measure two or three-piece suits, each with Jasper Conran’s sartorial elegance and modern cut. Here, you can select from luxury cloths - light Irish linen for summer weddings or wool/cashmere mixes for cooler days - with textured and patterned pure silk linings. Made to measure pure cotton shirts and hand-finished cravats, ties and pocket squares in stripes, spots or damask perfect the look.
